We created Pay Now to help you remove the roadblocks that often come after a buyer receives a quote. Sometimes buyers want to finance. Other times, they’re ready to pay and move forward—but waiting for an invoice slows everything down. Now, you can offer both options in one clean, simple flow.

By giving buyers the ability to apply for financing **or** pay by credit card directly from the quote, you’re making it easier for them to act—and easier for you to close.

## How It Works

Pay Now is designed to give you more flexibility without changing how you already work. Here’s how to use it:

**1. Connect your Stripe account in the APPROVE Vendor Portal**If you don’t have a Stripe account, you can create one in a few minutes, and it only needs to be done once.

2. Enable Pay Now on the quotes where it makes senseWhen you embed financing in your quotes using the **Finance My Quote** tool, you can choose whether or not to include Pay Now (credit card payment). It’s up to you.

**3. Add any additional fees**Need to include taxes, shipping, or other line items? You can do that directly in the portal.

**4. Share the quote with your buyer**Once your quote is ready, APPROVE generates a custom link and/or a QR code you can share by email, text, or however you prefer.

**5. Your customer takes action**From the link, the buyer can either apply for financing or pay upfront with a credit card. Both options are clearly displayed side by side. When a buyer pays via Pay Now, Stripe processes the transaction and deposits funds directly into your account. When a buyer chooses financing, the quote continues through the standard APPROVE financing flow.

 

Only credit card transactions are subject to a **0.5% processing fee** (plus Stripe’s standard fee). Financing remains fee free.

You use the **Finance My Quote** (formerly App Link Generator) tool in your APPROVE Vendor Portal or Finance Landing Page to generate a link and/or QR code in about 20 seconds.

You activate the **Pay Now** feature,add a shipping fee, and share the link with your customer via email or text.

Your customer opens the quote and sees both options

- **Apply for financing**
- **Pay now with a credit card**

They decide to pay upfront, complete the transaction on the spot, and the funds hit your Stripe account.

Yes. Stripe is used to securely process credit card payments. You can connect your existing account or create one during setup.

###### Does Pay Now replace financing on my quotes?

No. Pay Now is offered **in addition to financing**. Buyers can choose the option that works best for them.

###### What does it cost to use Pay Now?

0.5% plus standard Stripe processing fees apply to Pay Now transactions.

###### Can I choose which quotes include Pay Now?

Yes. You control when to enable Pay Now with a single click. It’s optional for each quote you create.

###### Can I add taxes or shipping costs to a Pay Now quote?

Yes. You can add any custom line items, including taxes and shipping, directly in the portal.

###### How do I send the quote to a customer?

The Finance My Quote tool generates a unique link and QR code that presents your quote with financing and credit card payment options presented side-b-yside next to your quote. Share it by email, text, or however you communicate with your buyer.

###### What happens after a customer pays?

Stripe processes the payment and transfers the funds to your account. You’ll be notified immediately so you can fulfill the order or move forward.
